The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce — working in cooperation with the Greater Pittston and Greater Hazleton Chambers — has set up this Virtual Business Recovery Center to assist businesses affected by flooding or damages.  If you are a business owner and need assistance:
1) Please fill out the form at Get Help.
2) Review the businesses that have offered to help at no charge or at a discount at the Resources Link.
3) Review the informational resources throughout the site designed to help your business.
If you are an agency or service provider wishing to contribute a resource to this website please complete the Give Help form.  Please indicate whether the service is free or discounted.
4) You can apply for U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loans to help your business recover.  Got to www.sba.gov or call the toll free hotline at 1-800-488-5323.  The Small Business Development Center at Wilkes University at 570-408-4343 or sbdc@wilkes.edu has also offered to help with the application process.

We have been contacted by businesses requiring the following services.  If you can help, click on the “GIVE HELP” link.  If your business is in distress, please choose “GET HELP.”  Please be patient as we try and work through the amount of information we are receiving and trying to match up services.

Here are the services we have received the most requests for:

  • Trucks and dumpsters
  • Volunteers to help with clean up
  • Clean Up Services
  • IT Services (getting systems back up and running and repaired or replaced)
  • Used or New Computers (donated or loaned)
  • Pump/Water Removal Services
